Elon Musk's social media platform X no longer searches for Taylor Swift. 

 The decision follows a scandal involving graphic, AI-generated photos of the singer, raising worries about technology's ethical limits and propensity to exploit and damage people.

 When X users search for her name, an error message appears.

From the White House to US senators, there were concerns about AI's harmful effects and calls for government and corporate action.

 X has bravely halted the search for Swift's name to ensure her safety. 

Following the incident, X told Page six, “This is a temporary action and done with an abundance of caution as we prioritize safety on this issue.”

Swift, 34, was portrayed at her boyfriend's NFL game in shocking sexualized deepfakes on X this week.
