Warriors honor assistant Dejan Milojevic in pregame ceremony –

SAN FRANCISCO: After assistant coach Dejan Milojević passed away last week at the age of 46

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr was unable to offer any advice to his squad on Wednesday in preparation for their first game back in nine days.

.For everyone, this was a first-time experience. Kerr then instructed his group to just go right in and lose themselves in the game

Although it was challenging, I believe our team performed well in attempting to adjust to the new situation and become comfortable with the game,"

" Kerr remarked following the Warriors' 134–112 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

"I think getting out there and playing is probably the best thing the players could do to get the mind off the sorrow we've all felt this past week."

Prior to the game, the Hawks and Warriors posed side by side on the Chase Center court wearing shirts that said "Brate,

" which is the Serbian word for "brother." The initials "DM" shaped like a heart and were found in the corner.
