Report: Colin Kaepernick will opt out of his contract with the 49er

This news originally surfaced on December 4, when Ian Rapoport announced that Kaepernick's contract would be nullified.

According to Kevin Lynch, two days later, Kaepernick was "miffed and a little bemused" by the report.

"It blew me away where that came from or who said it," Kaepernick remarked. I wish I knew who said it. I would go talk to him.

Why do you think Kaepernick decided to opt out? He's slated to make $19.3 million next season;

 does he believe he can earn more on the open market? Do you believe a team will sign him? If so, what one?

Could this mark the end of Kaepernick's career?
