Outlander's Sophie Skelton lands leading role in Hollywood thriller away from serie

Later this year, filming for a brand-new thriller starring Sophie Skelton will begin in Scotland.

The 29-year-old is most recognized for her performance as Brianna Fraser in the film Outlander, in which she co-stars with Richard Rankin, Sam Heughan, and Caitriona Balfe.

Filming for the UK thriller Row, starring Sophie, Bella Dayne, and Akshay Khanna, is scheduled to begin in Scotland in a few weeks.

The plot of Row centers on a lady who washes up on shore in a blood-stained rowboat, 

her crewmates still missing and thought to be dead. She has to reconcile her inconsistent recollections and establish her innocence.Writer Nick Skaugen and director Matthew Losasso's 

first feature film is titled Row. Even though it looks like an endless ocean in every direction, 

 the Valiant's lack of space leads to intense drama and paranoia. "It's an incredibly ambitious and captivating script," Matthew stated to The Hollywood Reporter.
