'Outlander' Cast: See What Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan and More Look Like in Real Life

Since the show's 2014 debut, creator Ronald D. Moore has been transforming popular novelist Diana Gabaldon's books into a historical drama fit for seven seasons.

The love narrative between Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) drives the series, even though it is supported by time travel and historical events.

Season 7, which debuts on June 16, will feature one of the most terrifying circumstances the on-screen pair has ever encountered.

Jamie must intervene to save Mistress Fraser because Richard Brown, who believes Claire killed Malva Christie and her unborn child, is determined to see her hanged.

We're expanding on the fantastic [last] season. Jamie is still alive and is trying to locate [Claire]. In June 2022, Heughan told Gold Derby, "That's where we pick up."

"Outlander" Season 7: All the Details Maril Davis, the executive producer, claims that this is Outlander's "biggest season yet."

As we've discussed the Revolution a lot, I will mention that it's almost like in Game of Thrones when "winter is coming".

"The American Revolution is here for next season," Davis stated in a Variety interview. This season, there are a ton of storylines that we will cross over to cover a lot of territory.
