Live TV Wedding of Golden Bachelor. Everything We Know

On January 4, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist will marry in a live, broadcast ceremony five months after meeting on The Golden Bachelor. The world saw their love story, so it's only fitting that they share their first day of happily-ever-after.

But we still have numerous questions. First, how did they plan a national-broadcast wedding in so little time? According to their People interview, Nist's daughter Jen helped an immensely.

Practical issues include how and when America may watch the wedding ceremony and whether cameras will be allowed at the reception. This is everything we know about The Golden Bachelor wedding spectacular.

How to livestream the wedding? Cable users can watch the ceremony on ABC or on January 4 at 8 p.m. ET. Non-cable subscribers must wait until January 5 to access the program on Hulu or Disney+.

How long will the broadcast air? Turner and Nist's two-hour wedding-celebration special will likely include the reception and the tearful ceremony, according to Today.

Where is the wedding? People reports that the wedding will take place at the La Quinta Resort in California. Gerry and Theresa are from Indiana and New Jersey, respectively, but a Southern California wedding makes sense since they fell in love there.

Who officiates? Having an ex officiate your wedding is different than inviting them. Turner and Nist chose Golden Bachelor participant Susan Noles, whom Turner sent home on week five, to do the honors.

Other Golden Bachelor competitors invited? Yes! Runner-up Leslie Fhima will attend despite having just been recovered from surgery. I'm excited to help Gerry and Theresa on their special day. I know it will be fantastic," Fhima posted on Instagram Stories. The Bachelor family, including longest-surviving couple Trista and Ryan Sutter, will attend.

Its theme? In an interview with People, Theresa and Gerry claimed they had picked delicate pinks and peaches for the ceremony, with gold floral accents. The design is “light and airy,” perfect for a desert wedding.

Any other ceremonial details? Gerry and Theresa told People they wrote their own vows, and Gerry knows he'll cry. “Theresa will not have even made it to the platform where we’re going to exchange our vows, and that moment I see her walking down the aisle is going to get me,” he told People.

A Theresa-selected four-piece string ensemble will perform for the event. Families will exist. Lots of relatives. Her son Tommy will walk the bride down the aisle, while Gerry and Theresa's children, their spouses, and their grandkids will be groomsmen and bridesmaids.

What will the bride wear? People reports That Theresa will wear a Badgley Mischka dress.
