Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears fans compete on iTunes with 'Selfish' tracks.

Fans of Britney Spears are showing their affection for Justin Timberlake in a variety of ways.

Spears fans are clapping back by playing Spears' song of the same name, which is from her album "Femme Fatale," which was published in 2011. The artist launched his comeback track "Selfish" this week after a lengthy absence.

The single by Spears landed in the fifth slot across all genres on the iTunes chart on Friday morning, while Timberlake, who is 42 years old, topped the chart.

It is expected that Justin Timberlake will go on his first tour in five years, titled "The Forget Tomorrow World Tour," in order to promote his forthcoming sixth studio album, titled "Everything I Thought It Was."

"Therefore, if I find myself feeling jealous, I have no control over it. In the chorus of the song "Selfish," which is about a lover, Justin Timberlake says,

I want every bit of you, I guess I'm selfish; It's bad for my mental, but I can't fight it, when you're out lookin' like you do, but you can't hide it, no." Justin Timberlake is married to Jessica Biel, who is an actress.

"I'm a girl and you're a boy and tonight, you're going to be my, be my man; Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh tonight, I'm going to be a little selfish," Spears says in the song that bears the same name.

Timberlake has been invited to perform as a musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" this week, and he will be performing alongside Dakota Johnson, who is the host of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" serial.

To commemorate his 43rd birthday, the singer known for his hit song "Cry Me a River" is scheduled to do a concert at Irving Plaza in New York City on January 31. The show will be free of charge.
