Ja Morant Suspended Again for Possible Gun Video

Morant, the Memphis Grizzlies' top guard, was initially suspended in March after brandishing a gun during an Instagram Live video

The NBA is looking into Memphis Grizzlies shooter Ja Morant, 23, after he casually displayed an object like a firearm during an Instagram Live video posted over the weekend

The video, which appears to have been posted on Saturday, comes just over two months after the NBA fined Morant for displaying a gun in a live Instagram video

from a Denver pub. He expressed regret at the time, stating that the rifle did not belong to him and promising to do better in the future.

The Grizzlies stated on Sunday that Morant had been suspended from all team operations while the league reviewed the new video

Memphis was eliminated from the playoffs last month, losing in the first round to the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to Mike Bass, a league spokesman, the NBA is "aware" of the post and seeking additional information.

Following the nightclub footage, the league suspended Morant for eight games in March.
