Despite her "serious" illness, Kate Middleton is determined to "bounce back."

Kate Middleton is recovering after a “planned abdominal surgery” at the exclusive London Clinic on January 16.

The two-week post-op rehab worried royal observers because it sounded serious. Princess of Wales is expected to recover from the unexplained health crisis.

A royal household source told People Magazine, “It does sound serious with the length of time [she's taking].

“But she is in good hands and will receive lots of care and support at home and is fit. I know she'll recover."

Kensington Palace did not divulge Catherine, Princess of Wales' condition but said she would be hospitalized for “10 to 14 days, before returning home to continue her recovery” and unlikely to “return to public duties until after Easter.”
