Coming Up on January 21: The Return of The Bachelor and the Premieres of Sofía Vergara’s Griselda

The Bachelor returns on Monday night, led by 28-year-old tennis pro Joey Graziadei (from Charity Lawson's Bachelorette season). I'm not excited to see another 20-something try to fall in love after The Golden Bachelor's massive success (what's it going to take to get more 30- and 40-something bachelors and bachelorettes?), but Joey's season is supposed to be the most romantic, so I might be surprised. If nothing else, they visit Italy.

The Golden Bachelor's ASKN ladies (April, Susan, Kathy, and Nancy) featured in a trailer for Joey's season during the holidays, and Joey appeared on their season, so our beloved ladies could appear on this season. This Thursday, Netflix launches Griselda, a grittier, darker, and more violent drama. Sofía Vergara excels in the starring part, showcasing her versatility beyond Gloria Delgado-Pritchett.

Friday brings Austin Butler, Barry Keoghan, and Ncuti Gatwa to Apple TV+'s historical drama Masters of the Air, produced by Spielberg and Hanks. The 96th Academy Awards nominations will be announced on Tuesday, January 23, and Barry Keoghan, who was nominated last year for The Banshees of Inisherin, could receive his second Oscar nod. Get the whole list here.

Monday, January 22 The Bachelor (ABC): Joey Graziadei searches for love. He meets 32 23–31-year-old women in tonight's debut. The preview below suggests he may find enduring love, but we'll get new wonderful places to visit for our next holiday. 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7/CT

Wednesday, January 24 Real Bug's Life (Disney+): After starting on NatGeo, the fascinating series on our smallest creatures comes to Disney+. You'll never kill a bug again on purpose. Nine miniature insect worlds from around the world are explored in episodes inspired by Disney and Pixar's A insect's Life. Awkwafina narrates this family-friendly show.

Thursday, January 25 Netflix's Griselda No other Sofía Vergara has been seen like this. The six-episode limited series on Griselda Blanco, who founded one of the most successful cartels, is vicious, nasty, and wickedly cunning. Blanco's lethal blend of unanticipated brutality and charm allowed her balance business and family in '70s and '80s Miami, earning her the nickname Godmother.

On Friday, January 26, Apple TV+ will air Masters of the Air. Apple expects this limited series, created by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg and starring Austin Butler, Barry Keoghan, and Ncuti Gatwa, will be a hit. Masters of the Air, based on Donald L. Miller's book of the same name, follows the 100th Bomb Group (Bloody Hundredth) as they bomb Nazi Germany in perilous conditions. Two episodes start, then one per week until March 15.

Saturday, January 27 Cam Girl Confessions (Lifetime): Inspired by true events, this movie of the week follows 18-year-old Kristen (Megan Best) as she surreptitiously develops an explicit-content page to generate $10,000 for fashion school. Her scheme is discovered, jeopardizing her future and family's safety. 8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CT
